Grand Theft Auto V

Grand Theft Auto V is an open world, action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on 17 September 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Grand Theft Auto V is an open-world, action-adventure game set in the fictional city of Los Santos and its surrounding countryside. The story follows a trio of protagonists; criminal Franklin, repossessor Michael, and corrupt cop Trevor, who are all being manipulated by a government agent named Devin.

Gameplay

Grand Theft Auto V features an open world environment, in which the player takes control of three characters. The game has two particular types of gameplay: vehicular and on foot. The player can explore for a variety of missions, such as driving a taxi, running a criminal gang, and taking part in a police sting. The on foot gameplay is similar to the original Grand Theft Auto games, where the player can shoot and punch enemies. The environment is larger than Liberty City in Grand Theft Auto IV, and the map is much more diverse, featuring different weather settings and terrain.

Graphics

Grand Theft Auto V is powered by a new proprietary Rockstar Advanced Game Engine (RAGE), which Rockstar claims runs "10 times" faster than the engine behind Grand Theft Auto IV. The game is set in 2012 and features a new 3D game engine, along with an updated soundtrack.

Information about replayability

Grand Theft Auto V is meant to be a "living world that constantly evolves and reacts to the player's actions".
